We’re proud to announce that after just 1000 days of development, the Koala Pet is now available in the Hive Store for 660 Minecoins.

This small change roundup features recent changes and bug fixes that are not covered in individual update posts.

BedWars

• Fixed a missing translation of the BedWars game description in the microhub game selector.

• Fixed an issue that caused a duplicate and broken listing of the ‘Enderman Plush’ bed topper to appear in the locker.

Ground Wars

• Increased the amounts of XP earned for winning and getting a kill:

  • Kill - 1XP ➡️ 5XP

  • Win - 10XP ➡️ 30XP

Win Celebrations

• Equipped win celebrations are now performed by the player when the game ends, in addition to their statue on the podium, in the following games: The Bridge, Ground Wars, Block Drop, Block Party, Capture The Flag, Survival Games, Hide and Seek, SkyWars, Build Battle, and Murder Mystery.

• Added an icon for the win celebration category in the global locker.

• Fixed a bug where the confirmation message after equipping a win celebration didn’t appear.

Gifting

• XP Boosters can now be gifted for 1 gift token.

• Gifts can no longer be placed in Parkour Worlds.

Other Changes

• Hub mount despawn sounds now only play for the mount passenger, instead of everyone nearby.

• Added support for Hive Ultimate rank in the Replay Cinema.

Other Fixes

• Fixed a bug where players’ skins would sometimes not update (or change to a default one) after playing a game that equipped a custom skin (e.g. a Death skin in DeathRun or a block in Hide and Seek).

• Fixed a bug where a player’s cosmetics were removed when their rank was edited in a custom server.

• Fixed a bug where the /costume random, /avatar random, and /title random commands didn’t apply the selected cosmetic.

• Fixed a bug where the /costume random, /avatar random, and /title random commands could select the currently equipped cosmetic.

• Fixed a bug where players appeared smaller than normal after attempting to equip the Chicken Jockey mount in an area without enough space.

• Fixed a bug that caused the Hive+ icon to not show up in the gifting menu.

• Fixed a bug that caused quests from recently purchased Tickets to be counted towards the daily quest limit.

An update to Build Battle: Speed Builders is deploying to all regions. This update focuses on adding new content, and improving the custom server experience.

Changes

• Added over 60 new builds

• Improved custom server support

  • Teams are now automatically balanced

  • Inventories are shared between players on each team

• Fixed multiple incompletable builds

• Increased the amount of XP awarded per build from 1–6 XP to 1–12 XP
