Small Change Roundup: December 2024

This small change roundup features recent changes and bug fixes that are not covered in individual update posts.

BedWars

  • Fixed a rapid hotbar switching bug that allowed players to use a knockback dory multiple times without removing the item from their inventory.

  • Filled in the hollow space within the spawn islands on Turris to prevent players from glitching inside to camp.

  • Turrets can now be placed on top of grass paths.

The Bridge

  • Fixed a bug which made it possible to duplicate items while scoring a goal.

Capture The Flag

  • Fixed a bug that allowed spectators to interact with the lever on Valley, which would close the gate at the map's center.

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented you from using teleporters despite not holding the flag.

  • Respawning players no longer trigger the activation animation on launchpads.

Deathrun

  • Fixed a bug where rapidly switching your inventory slot could duplicate the visibility item.

  • Fixed a bug where you couldn't activate a trap when clicking on a sign or other interactable block.

Hide and Seek

  • Fixed a bug where the Simply Dirt featured preset included blocks other than dirt.

  • Fixed several out-of-map spots on Town Square, China Town, and Facility.

  • Added missing locker unlock icons (Jester Hat & Penguin Eyes).

Just Build

  • Increased the AFK grace period from 45 to 75 seconds; players will now be kicked for inactivity after 90 seconds.

Murder Mystery

  • Fixed a bug where certain avatar level rewards were not displaying their names correctly in level-up reward messages.

  • Fixed a bug where the ‘Mini Me’ gravestone would spawn in the floor.

  • Fixed a bug where the wrong skin would be re-applied after using the spellbook on Witch School if you had changed your skin after joining the game.

  • Fixed a bug where under certain conditions, jumping in the water on Castle Town would teleport you to the murderer’s spawn spot.

  • Players falling into the void within the first 10 seconds of the game will be teleported to a random spawn to combat lower-end devices having issues loading chunks. After the 10 seconds, any void damage will now eliminate the player.

  • Corrected the description wording of the coins menu in the Custom Server customization menu.

  • Coins collected from searchable objects (e.g. mailboxes on Fairy Garden) are now counted towards your total coin count at the end of the game. These coins do not grant XP (no changes were made to this).

  • The sheriff's magnifying glass can no longer be lost when spawning and falling into water.

  • Armor is now removed if you purchase invisibility.

  • Players’ hats are no longer removed if they pick up the Sheriff’s magnifying glass.

SkyWars

  • Fixed a bug where Chompy could be stacked with another one.

  • Fixed a bug that displayed the wrong death message when you died as a result of your own fire boombox.

  • Bow health notifications now correctly account for absorption hearts.

Survival Games

  • Fixed spots on Northwood (and Winterwood) where players could get stuck.
