We’re continuing our migration to using Gift Tokens for gifts on The Hive. Today, we’re rolling this out to 9 types of gifts.

Due to Marketplace restrictions, there is no perfect correlation between the Minecoin- and Gift Token prices. Certain items are slightly cheaper compared to the Minecoin price, and others are slightly more expensive. However, if you make use of the Gift Token discount bundle, the difference is always in your favor.

Players that had existing gifts in their wallet have been migrated to Gift Tokens. For items that are more expensive in Token form, an additional Token has been granted for each legacy Gift. Additionally, 2 bonus tokens were granted for every 10 converted Tokens.

At this time, we are not migrating Costume Gifts due to their availability as Quest Shop purchases. Gifts that are no longer available, such as the 2023 Block Friday bundle, also remain as Legacy gifts.

Some minor improvements were made to the Gifting menu to reflect these changes. For bundles, Hive+ and the Replay Pass gifts, the menu now shows the Token price for extra clarity. The menu has also received improved ordering.

*: Some pets and mounts are available at a lower price, these pets also have a lower Gift Token price.
