We are receiving reports that in Minecraft 1.14.1, at times, players entities render as Steves, with skins never being applied. We have reported this issue to Microsoft, but due to the Winter holidays, don't expect any follow up on this until the new year.

If you are experiencing this issue, try fully quitting the Minecraft game (kill the process if your platform allows this), then start it back up.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be releasing our Christmas marketplace map this year. We will most likely release it during the Christmas 2020 season instead.

Bedrock is releasing for PlayStation 4 this week, with the 1.14 (bees) update. The Minecraft Marketplace will be available, this includes The Hive's Marketplace content (skin packs, Pirate's Fortune, soon Grinch Quest).

Servers will NOT be available at launch. We are working with Mojang and Sony to bring our server to PS4, but do not have a date to share at this time. If and when we have any updates on this, they will be posted here as usual.

Thank you all that joined our first ever live event tonight! Over 14.000 players helped Santa escape from the frozen globe, dealing millions of damage (hits) on it. After the globe was broken, the hub transformed in front of all online players, into our 2019 Christmas Hub!

This is just the start - tonight's event was experimental, and we plan to do more events in the future: bigger, and better. Stay tuned!

Our Christmas Hub is back, right in time for the festive season. Check out the Grinch Quest display to the right of spawn - our brand new Marketplace Map releasing on the 17th!

Upcoming Maps

We've got 14 Christmas maps this year, 7 of which are Christmas versions of existing maps. Those Christmas versions take the place of the regular map, and return to normal after the season. The remaining 7 will be vaulted until next year.

Recent changes to the Minecraft Marketplace have introduced some unreliability in us receiving the correct purchased items. If you've recently bought something from our server store, but didn't receive the items, try the following:

• Rejoin the server (go back to menu, and rejoin The Hive)
• Run the /fixpurchase command
• Redeem the Free offer that opens

If the above fails, try to quit the game, and retry the above. There is no limit on the amount of times you can try to use /fixpurchase.

If the problem persists, re-open the item you bought and make sure it's marked as purchased. If it is NOT marked as purchased but Minecoins were taken from your account, please contact Mojang Support.

If the item IS marked as purchased, Minecoins were taken, and the above doesn't work, please reach out to our support team at support@playhive.com

We apologize for these issues and will continue to work with Microsoft to resolve and prevent them.

The Rubber Ducky costume has left the quest shop, and will never be available again. We're sure the 911 people that claimed him will use him well!

For December, we're offering Gingerbread Costume at 999 coins. One coin less than the duck, as it's Christmas season after all.

The next quest shop update will be January 1st, so make sure to claim the new costume before then!
