You can now report chat messages using in-game reporting! You can access this using the regular reporting tools (/report or using the hotbar item as a spectator). If you report during the game, you'll be able to select the relevant chat messages and submit these as evidence.

Additionally, a range of new reporting reasons have been added. We'll keep reviewing and updating this list based on both community and staff feedback.

As we will be phasing out Discord reporting, we recommend using in-game reporting where possible. Discord reporting will remain available for games and hubs that don't have in-game reporting, until it is added to all these places.

Thank you for using reporting, which helps us keep the network clean. A special shoutout goes to the now over 1000 players that have submitted enough valid reports to receive reporting rewards.

As of today, The Hive no longer supports 1.17 versions of Minecraft. Players will need to use version 1.18.0 or above to play.

Support for older versions of Minecraft is removed to allow us to use blocks and features that are introduced in newer versions of the game and to improve performance for our players.

We have decided to remove support for 1.17 a little earlier than usual, this is because only a tiny percentage (less than 1%) of players still used a 1.17.X version to join The Hive.

Today, Minecraft is releasing 1.18.12, which resolves the player movement issue. We recommend all players update to this version to receive the latest features and fixes.

The Endolotl pet is now available to purchase!

All players now have access to the brand new pet menu, which can be accessed by interacting with the spawn egg in your hot bar.

The pet menu can be used to purchase pets, summon and put them away, and change their name and name color.

Want to gift an Endolotl to your friend? Regular pets are giftable through the gifting menu!

It's time to ring in the Year of the Tiger!

Festive Hub

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, and the start of the Year of the Tiger, the hub has received a festive makeover!

Zodiac Banner Hunt

Be sure to look out for 12 banners special banners that have been hidden around the hub! Each one of them features an animal from the Chinese zodiac: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.

Players that manage to find all 12 of the banners will receive the exclusive Lunar Tiger costume:

We are continuously improving and expanding in-game reporting.

If you received continuous errors reporting before, this should now be resolved.

In-game reporting prioritizes reports behind the scenes based on a wide number of factors. Submitting accurate reports will increased the speed of your future reports being handled, and you may receive rewards for correctly reporting.

We urge all players to utilize in-game reporting in supported games for reporting rule breakers.

We are currently testing our upcoming in-game reporting system.

We have given a limited number of players access to the feature, to allow us to test it and to gather data.

At this time, the system is still in heavy development, and as such, we cannot guarantee that reports sent using the system will be looked into by our staff. To ensure that your report is looked at, we strongly encourage you to continue to report players on our Discord server, as well as in-game.

We will be giving more players access to the feature in the coming weeks, look out for further announcements regarding this.

A powerful blizzard has swept through the hub, and a mysterious Ice Cave has appeared under spawn! The Ice Caves are said to be extremely cold, so make sure you pick up an Ice Suit if you plan on venturing down there!
