This is the first of more upcoming updates for Survival Games. So far we've had some excellent feedback, and we've tried to take a lot of it on board in this first patch. We'll be monitoring feedback and making further changes to loot and balancing where needed.

New Map: Northwood

Loot

• Bows are now slightly rarer
• Arrows are now slightly rarer
• Diamond Swords are very rare in Tier 2 chests
• Added Snowballs and Ender Pearls to some loot sets (could be revoked)
• Removed junk

Gameplay

• Added clear "no-teaming" message to game start
• Arrows shot at melee distance (less than 5 blocks) deal half damage
• While falling, supply drops strike silent lightning to their landing zone
• District names now show below player names in duos

Bugs

• Fixed an issue where games may not end when a player leaves during deathmatch warmup
• Fixed an issue where players could shoot bows during deathmatch warmup
• Fixed the arrow trails, all particles now render correctly

A brand new Treasure Wars: Mega map, "Western", is now available!

Treasure Wars: Mega will remain available for the foreseeable future.

We've released a patch for the 1.12 water rendering on our EU region. This patch will be released on the other regions at a later time.

Once this patch is released worldwide, we will be disabling 1.10 support.

We have no updates to share about our support for beta 1.13 at this time.

We're aware that during peak hours, mainly on our North America region, players have been experiencing suboptimal performance at times. We have tracked down the root issues, and ahead of the peak tonight, have deployed an experimental fix.

We will continue to monitor all regions to ensure a lag-free experience across The Hive Bedrock.

We've resolved the majority of issues with the Minecraft 1.12 release. The water rendering issue is a client bug, for which we are awaiting a fix.

We continue to work towards supporting the 1.13 betas. We have no timeframe to share for this.

For the time being, we will continue to support 1.10 and 1.11.

We are aware of the following issues with R12:

• Certain particles don't render or render incorrectly
• Water is completely fully transparent when getting close to it

We are working on fixes for these issues. Once we know more, further updates will be posted.
