It's time for another update, this time for SkyWars! This update brings 25 new levels and a brand-new Duos map!
Look out for Atomic, the newest map in the SkyWars: Duos roster!
This update introduces 25 levels, bringing the total level 100. As always, with each level you reach, you'll unique new unlockable cosmetics.

A balancing patch for SkyWars: Classic is now being deployed to all regions.

This is the first balancing patch for SkyWars: Classic. We will continue to review your feedback and make further changes where necessary. If you have any feedback on the changes in this balancing patch, be sure to join our Discord server.
Our newest mode blends the classic SkyWars gameplay you love with exciting new items and features that keep the action fresh!

The original Hive SkyWars experience isn't going anywhere; the Solo, Duos, and Squads modes can still be played as normal.
To reduce queue times and ensure that platform-based matchmaking is active more frequently, we’ve decided to vault the Trios and Mega modes. SkyWars: Kits has also been vaulted for the time being—it may return in the future.
In the coming weeks, we will also be releasing a SkyWars level update, which will bring the total level to 100, and introduce prestige.

Developer Note: We understand that it can be frustrating to have your favorite game mode vaulted. Now that summer is ending, we're anticipating player counts to lower - and ensuring games stay sustainable is important to us. Games with more active queues are better for everyone. You get faster games and a wider range of opponents.
All games removed were struggling to exceed more than 200 concurrent players, with often only 60-100 people playing in each region. We hope to bring SkyWars: Kits back in the future with the more kits update.
Additionally, we are working on "fill options" for parties, so you can play our squads games as a trio, without a random player being assigned to your team. Thank you for the understanding!

A new SkyWars version is being deployed to all regions. This update adds a custom server option to enable a new projectile physics experiment.
Developer Note
Our projectile physics have always felt a little off. This update brings our projectiles more in line with vanilla Minecraft.
This should make projectiles feel a lot better, including removing the weird arc that Hive projectiles have when shooting upward.
We want your thoughts on these changes, so we have made this a custom server option. Anyone who plays a game with this setting enabled will be sent a Mailbot survey. So, please let us know your thoughts via that survey or on our Discord.
These changes do not indicate future changes; we only want to gauge the community's feelings/feedback surrounding projectiles.
Skywars is the first game to get its own microhub, Sky Royale LTM is back, and 7 new Skywars maps are rolling out!
The new Skywars microhub is the new home for all things Skywars! It's a place to access your in-game locker, create custom servers, and check out other players' stats. It's also a great place to meet other Skywars players.
Look out for more features coming to microhubs in a future update. Be sure to let us know what you'd like to see, by leaving a suggestion on our forums.
To enter the microhub, simply click on the Skywars NPC in the hub!

SkyWars: Kits Duos
SkyWars: Kits Duos is now available to play!
You can access it by using the game selector, or by typing /queue SKY-KITS-DUOS in chat.
Thanks to your feedback, we're continuing to update SkyWars: Kits. Today's update sees a slight rework to the trapper kit and a few other changes.
Developer note: We heard that trapper was slightly too underpowered. We hope these changes help. We understand this could result in an over-correction and we will be monitoring feedback closely. We understand this might make the builder kit less valuable, however, we're planning to add some new perks to the builder kit - including a block breaker boombox.
Developer note: We heard that the sound/perk is giving away too much information to nearby players. This meant nearby players knew you were on critical health and would then chase the kill. We're hoping this balances that slightly and will continue to tweak if needed.
Keep the feedback coming, SkyWars Kits is a living game and will be updated regularly.
