We're aware of bad client performance/FPS since the latest Minecraft update/hotfix. Here's what we're doing about it:

• We're fully disabling Character Creator skins on Nintendo Switch. These skins are causing skin rendering to fully halt, turning everything including our NPC's into Steve skins.
• We're adding a toggle for all other platforms to enable/disable receiving Character Creator skins. Using this toggle will improve client performance / FPS.
• We're providing Microsoft with feedback on these regressions and will push for a future hotfix to resolve these issues. We also urge the community to let Minecraft know these issues are negatively impacting their Minecraft experience.
